The Filipino population demonstrates a substantial understanding of land taxation laws, aiding them in mitigating the challenges faced by responsible taxpayers. This study aims to enhance awareness among Filipinos regarding the benefits of President Duterte's priority program, particularly the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) law. The TRAIN law is designed to support the Filipino populace, especially those in poverty, by funding the Duterte administration's 10-point socio-economic agenda to achieve inclusive economic growth. The study focuses on assessing the awareness of selected public high school teachers in Davao City about the TRAIN law's provisions, implementation, goals, and objectives. Utilizing a descriptive design and survey questionnaires, the research highlights the varying levels of awareness among respondents. Findings indicate a high awareness of specific provisions, while understanding of implementation and broader goals remains moderate. The study concludes that while the TRAIN law offers significant benefits, there is a need for improved information dissemination to ensure comprehensive public understanding. The researchers recommend conducting more seminars and orientations to educate the public, particularly educators, about the new tax system. Additionally, future research should expand the respondent scope and explore innovative methods to enhance awareness and understanding of the TRAIN law and its regulations.
